The awe of nature is not just in the composition of the landscape. It is also in the colors we see and the emotions we feel when we genuinely connect with the earth. Everyone can see the beauty of nature, but not everyone sees it the same way. The rural landscapes of Nebraska are no exception.
I bring bold lines and colors into my paintings. By pulling terrestrial and celestial elements from photographs taken throughout Northeast Nebraska, I can add a bit of whimsey and impact to each individual work.
