When Winter is nearing its end and Spring is still sleeping, the calm of nature inspires me to be still and take in the moment. This painting was created from a site that I see two to three times per week during the winter - a stationary, old (but still in use) Zimmatic center pivot located near Snyder, NE. 
Zimmatic is made by Lindsay Corporation in Lindsay, NE, about 50 miles West of Dodge on Highway 91. These pivots can be found across the Midwest and are a familiar site for any child of rural America.
